Opportunity overview
This internship sits within UNICEF Chile’s fundraising work and gives the selected intern practical exposure to business intelligence in a mission-driven environment. The role focuses on turning donor, campaign and income information into useful insights that colleagues can understand and act on.
The intern will support the full analytical workflow: organizing data, examining patterns, presenting results and documenting how recurring reports are produced. It is a strong learning opportunity for someone interested in using data to improve donor acquisition, retention and fundraising performance.
What you will work on
- Explore, clean, process and analyze datasets connected to donors, campaigns, revenue, collections, acquisition and retention.
- Help create and review donor segments using factors such as giving behaviour, campaign response, payment history, length of support and donation value.
- Prepare charts, dashboards and visual summaries that make complex information easier for non-technical colleagues to interpret.
- Update recurring fundraising reports and help identify performance gaps, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to executive presentations and document analytical definitions, methods and reporting procedures so that results remain traceable and consistent.
Who should consider applying
- A good fit for students or recent graduates interested in business intelligence, data analysis, statistics, information systems or a related discipline.
- Comfort working carefully with spreadsheets, datasets, indicators and visual reporting tools.
- Ability to explain analytical findings clearly to colleagues who may not have a technical background.
- Applicants should confirm the exact academic, language and nationality requirements on the official UNICEF vacancy page before applying.
