UNICEF Sierra Leone is expanding a Community-Based Digital Transformation model that connects digital learning spaces, localized content, youth networks and pathways to economic opportunity. The model includes Digital Learning Hubs, EduCubes, mobile and offline solutions, Learning Passport resources, Digital Champions and community youth groups.
The coordinator will help turn this strategy into a consistent operational system. The work spans implementation tools, partner coordination, infrastructure and platform standards, quality assurance, inclusion and performance monitoring across UNICEF teams and field locations.
What you will work on
- Operationalize and refine the seven-part CBDx model covering centres, champions, clubs, content, classes, courses and community.
- Translate strategy into standard operating procedures, playbooks, delivery models and quality-assurance tools.
- Coordinate across UNICEF sections, government partners, NGOs, community organizations and other implementation stakeholders.
- Support delivery standards for hubs, devices, connectivity, content systems and online or offline learning approaches.
- Strengthen monitoring, youth participation, safeguarding, disability inclusion, gender equality and data-informed performance improvement.
Who should consider applying
- A bachelor’s degree in digital innovation, education, international development, IT, social sciences, public policy or a related field.

- Experience building practical systems, procedures and implementation tools from strategic plans.
