The UNDP Global Policy Centre for Governance is seeking a specialist to support its work on financial integrity for sustainable development. The programme examines how transparency, accountability, capable institutions and international cooperation can reduce financial risks and create a more trustworthy environment for public and development investment.
This is a remote, half-time assignment. The volunteer will contribute analysis, policy alternatives, partner engagement, capacity strengthening and accessible knowledge products for policymakers and practitioners.
What you will work on
- Research financial-integrity issues and contribute to practical, evidence-based policy alternatives.
- Support convenings involving policymakers, practitioners, researchers and development partners.
- Assist capacity-strengthening and advocacy activities related to financial integrity.
- Prepare accessible briefs, dashboards, reports and other knowledge products.
- Support knowledge management, learning and collaboration across diverse partners.
Who should consider applying
- A master’s degree in economics, international development, development finance, governance or a related field.
- At least three years of national or international experience with financial-integrity topics such as public financial management, domestic-resource mobilization, anti-corruption, or business and human rights.
- Knowledge of financial-integrity systems and the roles of multilateral or bilateral development actors.
- Fluent English is required; another UN language is desirable. Candidates must have the legal right to work from their remote location.
